...I want to be more positive about the game on here lately, since I've been pretty negative as of late, but Epic makes it so hard at times.
The only AI I'll accept in this game is AMIE. Keep ChatGPT, Claude, or whatever as far away from this game as possible. Stop making slop.
Epic Employees have joked about Epic Games "AI First" approach going forwards (via: Bloomberg)
During a video call last week, some Epic developers made jokes about how to handle errors in AI-generated work, asking if they should just have Claude fix its own mistake.
Others at Epic are hoping that this AI First approach is not a serious request, or that Epic will reverse course in the future.
Some argue that this approach will not be as successful as the company hopes it will be.
