A Sparking! ZERO Tag Team Mod is officially in early development. This could be the first step toward bringing true tag team battles to the game. A group of talented modders has begun experimenting with the concept, and these early clips offer a glimpse at what they’re working toward. The project is still in its early stages, but it’s already a great step toward a feature many in the community have wanted to see. I just hate the idea of having to rely on mods to experience some of these really cool things. I’d love to see more of this kind of content and creativity make its way into the official game.

Modders are honestly incredible. They create new game modes, tons of maps—including maps inspired by the Dragon Ball Z movies—improve character models, and even add characters fans have been asking for, like Gohan Black, Android 21, SSJ3 Broly, and Super Dragon Ball Heroes characters. I know official development is a completely different process, but it’s hard not to look at what the community is creating and wish we could see more of that same creativity and support in the official game. 🥲 There’s so much potential here, and I’d love to see Bandai give the game even more content and fan-requested features in the future.
