It’s been a while, but I had a great time showing these girls that they could be the next roboticists!

Two out of those three years I was not able to leave the country, see my family or european collaborators because as a "visitor" I would have been denied reentry due to covid restrictions. Meanwhile, my american students could go on spring break to europe and beyond.

Effort much appreciated! But it’s kind of ironic that the same week this was posted, Princeton Faculty Housing had the light switch in the hallway of my building REMOVED so that it would stay on 24/7… One needs a switch to make the switch…

This hit particularly hard. Using progress as a justification to limit someone's rights...is something I did not think I would experience.
Mississippi, arguing that Roe is no longer necessary, said it's easier for women to "pursue both career success & a rich family life." It cited parental leave, child care help & strong pregnancy discrimination laws.
