Nice looking through some of the old steelbooks whilst trying all my old discs for the disc-to-digital Xbox program. Also these lenticular 3D-like covers are so nice 📀

8 or so hours in to Gears E-Day campaign and it’s absolutely excellent. Incredible opening sequences and it’s been perfect pacing between action set pieces, semi open world, and the walk & talk parts. Mid Act 3 (of 5). Fantastic so far ⚙️

Love the Xbox disc to digital program. Do not love the process of scanning them all in…😅 📀➡️💻

10 hrs into Silent Hill Townfall and really enjoying this on the whole. The instant death enemy sections are sheer frustration, and some puzzles a touch obtuse. Atmosphere wise tho, as with the others in the series, it’s excellent. On we go 🔦

Opening 4 hours of Silent Hill Townfall done. Great so far in every way bar (as expected) the combat, which is just boing an enemy on the head with a plank. Otherwise stealth it is. Visually superb and suitable creepy atmosphere (headphones FTW). Good stuff 👻😶‍🌫️

After a week of working away, finally back home and installing a new game, Silent Hill Townfall. Should fill the gap before Witcher 3 update and then Gears E-Day & Galactic Racer 👻

£14 on steam for Crisis Core - gotta be worth it right? Recently played FF7 Remake (pretty good) and Rebirth (not so good) but might play though this also before Revelation as I understand it’s all part of the wider story. Gonna pick it up 🗺️

Found myself back playing my NG+ run on Stellar Blade. Such a fantastic game, easy to pick up and play. Fantastic visuals and (“Nier” inspired) music. 🎯

Onimusha continues… bosses all taking a long time to beat now, closing in on the final stretch… should get this wrapped up next few days hopefully ⚔️

Finally back making progress in Onimusha. Thanks to those that gave useful tips, less thanks to those who told me how great there were and how easy it was… a few bosses down and into a new area that looks fantastic. On we go 🥷

Man alive, this boss in Onimusha is absolutely beating me senseless, huge difficulty spikes at bosses is an issue and a shame as it’s generally great. Just over half way through the game, hoping I can actually finish this ⚔️

8 hours into Onimusha and really enjoying this. A few nit-picks, primarily the boss difficulty spikes, but overall it’s an excellent hack and slash. Didn’t expect the humour either, it’s got a nice tone to it. So far so good 🥷

After several months of tinkering, finally got the steam controller set up as I want it, now my main for steam games. 2 gripes: -Cannot set universal key bindings -No good for non steam games (Epic,Xbox etc) Overall feel tho is great. Time to get Onimusha underway 🥷

New items to acquire in the Elden Ring Tarnished Pack. A long time since I played this. Great excuse to go back. ⚔️🛡️

Resonance Plague Tale finished Incredible visuals & art direction, first 3 hrs were fantastic. Next 9hrs tho… light based puzzles & especially the monster chase/hide parts wore thin to say the least, I’d had enough long before the end. Can’t believe I finished it. Oh well🐾

Resonance Plague tale continues… to be a struggle. Finished chapter 10 (of 14), still doing light puzzles and still hiding from the monster. It’s not a bad game, but these mechanics have so overstayed their welcome it’s untrue. Lots to like and I’m still going… just about 🔦

Really enjoyed chapter 1-3 of Resonance Plague Tale. Chapter 4-6… less so. Endless mirror puzzles and “hide from the monster” that we’ve seen a million times before. Finally back outdoors. Hoping this picks back up again…
