Some perspective… 18 new signings… team that’s never played together before…. Horrendous injury luck…. Brutal financial restrictions…. Some tough games…. 30k plus at every home game… record season tickets… record shirt sales…. Back to back clean sheets… 2nd in the league after 7 games and only 1 point back. Last season our club nearly fell away into oblivion…. This Summer everyone was talking about managing expectations and how happy we should be with even something like 8th place. And here we sit! We could only have dreamed of this a year ago. A bright future in our hands… for the first time in a long time. Back the lads. Back the gaffer…. They’re all working incredibly hard. Stay positive! Keep perspective! Be patient! Let’s leave the boos out and all of us do our part to make Hillsborough the fortress it should be when we’re 30k plus every week. Let’s make it the loudest ground in the country. Let’s have teams dreading the trip to S6!! Enjoy the break all. #wawaw
