Another trophyless year
Our attack is awful other than Sekine and Quintal. Can't handle a full season of this
Thanks for the memories Rhyan but that starting spot is Overy's to lose
And shame on @FootballAUS, who would rather bring in clueless foreign refs than pay Australians

A win that won't be long remembered
That Lacey assist for yet another Sekine goal was beautiful
Akon the other standout, easily would have had a hattrick of assists if anyone could finish
Other than that, we were bang average across the park. The next AL season is looking grim

Unreal first half, we don't talk about the rest
Wasn't pretty, but Kisnorbo is doing a great job considering the squad he has, with only one fit Visa player
Sekine is looking like a great signing, keen to see him and Quintal ball out this season
Bulls will be a proper test 🔜

Just had a 78 year old grandma who supports Spurs come up to me and ask which way the stadium is for the game later. I sent her the complete opposite way. 1-0 Sydney already 👊

Overnight, Paul Okon Jnr completed his permanent transfer to @fckoeln in the German Bundesliga for a multi million dollar transfer.
We would like to thank Paulie for the incredible last 12 months in Sky Blue and look forward to watching his continued success from afar 🥹🩵

Bayswater made it easy, but a solid win
Quintal ⚽️⚽️⚽️
Akon 🅰️🅰️🅰️
How good is this duo? Enjoy it while it last, they won't be here for much longer
Good to see Macallister score too, keen to see more of him this season. On the flip side, G. Popovic looked horrible

Robbie Mak has announced his retirement 🇸🇰
It's fair to say he achieved a proper cult hero status at Sydney
2 Seasons
58 Games
22 Goals
6 Assists
and an Australia Cup 🏆
Don't think anything will top that Elimination Final equaliser and match winning assist, all the best 👑

This is the biggest stitch-up ever
Before the penalty shootout with Peru, Redmayne knew for 6 WEEKS that he'd come on if it got to that stage
That is why it worked, and why today was a complete failure
Maty Ryan, our Captain and most capped player hung out to dry, disgraceful.

WTF was he thinking?
Popa got the Turkey game right but every decision made since has backfired, culminating in those pens...
Irankunda as a #9
Dropping Toure
Starting Leckie
Irvine over Okon Jr
and now Beach subbed off and Herrington taking a pen
What a waste, get him GONE.

I couldn't tell you a single thing about Takahiro Sekine before today
But seeing him score this banger in a 10-1 aggregate win against WSW is enough for me, i'm all in. 🇯🇵

Did what was needed and nothing more
Our attack NEEDS Toure upfront and Irankunda on the wing, Yengi coming on instead is even more puzzling
Hate to say it but Irvine is just not good enough anymore, Okon Jr starts next
Bos and Volpato excellent as usual, now onto the R32 🇦🇺

Never in my life have I been prouder to be Australian than when I heard a pub full of people erupt into cheers after seeing a 10 year old Turkish boy crying on the pitch.

Straight back to reality
No idea why Velupilay and Leckie started. Ridiculous it took us 75 minutes to finally start attacking
Embarrassing that we struggled to string 2 passes together, can't even count the amount of times we lost possession
On a positive, Volpato looked good

TONY POPOVIC I APOLOGISE
One of our best ever games at the World Cup
Two class goals backed up 90+9 minutes of non stop defending, pure Aussie DNA on display
Beach and Okon Jr showed why Popa took risks, won't be in the A-League for long
Irankunda incredible, Arda Guler who??

The Peruvians are cooking him in the comments, but are they wrong?

We had a 19 year old Academy player put up better numbers in 1000 less minutes...
And when you see how Baumjohann talked him up, it's fair to say we were sold a lie. Disappointing.
