I’m seeing a lot of Cornell tweets. Although it wouldn’t have helped that poor young woman it’s a good time to remind women that if you feel weird or unsafe in any establishment ask any member of staff for ANGELA. They’ll know you need help to discreetly get you out.

Good news & bad news. There were a pair of collared doves with the crow crew for the first time ever🤗 But sadly after my good friend contacted all the right people the window hasn’t been boarded up. I’m scared birds will start nesting in there & be in danger😥 #AnimalsCount ❤️

When Samuel came to greet me this morning instead of the crows, I knew something was wrong. Something’s happened overnight. The closed down Pizza Hut window’s been smashed, domestic rubbish strewn. I’m worried for all of their safety. #AnimalsCount ❤️

Today I got a call at work about a vulnerable juvenile squirrel. I was unable to leave work… and so began a full three hours of stressful phone calls coordinating him safely to a rehabber. We always drop everything, sometimes I wish finders would be more helpful😔 #AnimalRescue

The canny ones rush the queue to pick out the special nuts then find somewhere private enjoy their spoils. I love these guys, I’m so glad we found each other🫠 #AnimalsCount 🐦‍⬛❤️

There’s been an influx of baby gulls into the crow crew recently so this morning I heavy loaded the feed with fresh bananas. A good hit of energy once in a while will help them as the weather turns. #ForTheAnimals 🦅❤️🐦‍⬛

Almost every morning on the way to work I see dead wildlife. When I can I stop & remove them from the road. I can’t fathom the utter selfishness of pathetic racers who care nothing for wildlife. I hope they never know peace in their crap little lives. #AnimalsCount 🦊🦡💔

Today we dropped into the local fire station’s open day. A great way to help Winnie understand social responsibility & it’s no secret I’m a big fan they’ve helped on so many animal rescues. We then went on to catch a young bird with a bad growth. Busy Sunday now its bath time😅

Tonight marks the 4th anniversary of the murder of Mahsa Amini. For a brief moment in time we thought her death might mean something, that it would be the end of the Islamic Republic. Instead their grip has tightened & their spread has widened. Devastating. #IranMassacre‌

Giddy excitement this morning. Lots of chopped lettuce mixed in with the feed and moistened up with bean soup. I could hear the squeals of delight as I drove off🫠 #ForTheAnimals🐦‍⬛🐿️🦊❤️

A woman called Michelle Farnham is now 17 days into a 3 week protest, living in a cage, at Trafalgar Square, to try and save a pig called Luna (who lives in an identical cage). She stays there day and night. It has not had any big coverage, as far as I can see. I think it's a bit of a shame that violent and disruptive protest gets so much coverage, while quiet sort of self-sacrificing things like this, that do not harm anybody or any property, get less attention. Whether you or I agree with her, or what she's trying to do, what an impressive commitment, eh?
