Today I got Voice Mode on Grot Bot. The experience of talking through natural language to a bot that does most of the work for/with you is at another level 🤯 Did a custom audio setup to make it join to listen and contribute in my Team calls. What an unlock!

🎯 Again Dave nailed it
I think people are seriously underestimating what Cybercab means for Tesla’s future. For the past few years, everyone has been waiting for a smaller, cheaper Tesla to restart growth. And as that car failed to arrive, the assumption became that Tesla had lost its way or abandoned its high-volume ambitions. I think Tesla is laying the foundation for something much bigger. My read is that Elon made a deliberate decision to give up the obvious next product—a cheaper car with a steering wheel—and concentrate the company’s engineering talent on Cybercab and FSD. That takes conviction. You’re walking away from a product people already want, accepting slower growth, and putting enormous pressure on your teams to deliver. But I think Elon understands something that gets overlooked: a large company can have all the talent and resources in the world and still produce mediocre products because its attention is scattered. Remove the backup plan, and suddenly the entire company has to make this work. That kind of urgency can produce extraordinary innovation. And here’s where I think this gets really interesting. Once Tesla proves Cybercab’s software, manufacturing, and vehicle architecture, it can build an entire lineup on that foundation. Small cars. Larger cars. SUVs. All designed around the passenger. All benefiting from simpler systems, fewer parts, and a fundamentally different way of manufacturing. That’s the path I see back to millions more vehicles a year. Cybercab is the first step in that future. The work going into it today could make the vehicles that follow dramatically better and more affordable. Yes, Tesla is paying a price for this decision right now. But I think the focus it creates gives Tesla a much stronger shot at leading the next era of transportation. Five or ten years from now, I suspect we’ll look back at this period and realize how much of Tesla’s future was being built while people were declaring its growth story over. I break down the reasoning and the path ahead in my new video.

That’s all I needed to hear from one of the goats of the Tesla community 🚀 Thank you Dave for sharing your thoughts.
I’ve been to almost all the major Tesla events since 2012. Tonight was definitely one of the best. The displays that Tesla set up were amazing. They showed the unboxed assembly, various systems, new battery pack design, demo cars, etc. And they had a ton of Tesla employees to chat with. Tonight was about Tesla saying “we promised a revolutionary new car and we’re delivering on our promises.”

That means the flood is coming 🌊
Cybercab supports the full Robotaxi geofence. I was able to set the dropoff all the way at the north end, which would have been an hour ride.

Truly means something coming from Dave Lee.
Wow didn’t expect to be blown away by the Cybercab, but I was. Talked to 10-15 Tesla engineers at today’s event and saw all the work they put into the car. Everything was re-thought and designed for efficiency, manufacturing and reliability. Super impressive. The Cybercab is truly unlike any other car out there.

AI will be able to do anything digital (that doesn’t require shaping atoms) at a superhuman level by the end of next year

What a gift that so many don’t know yet. Unbelievable 🤦‍♂️
Affordable Level 5 self-driving requires AGI and is still at least 5-10 years away. First you need multimodal multiplexed AGI, then you need real-time inference, then on an energy-efficient, low-cost edge chip. Many steps left.

Cybercab will redefine transportation at a scale that few truly understand.
Ride in Robotaxi through 8/23 for a shot to attend our Cybercab launch event More rides = better odds

I share the same experience! This thing just hit differently and I have used most of them out there. Just watch it 🚀
BOOOM! I SAW THE FUTURE. Grok Bot is the “iPhone Moment” for AI. This is the most powerful AI product I have used. The app, the OS, the very device you use is now irrelevant. And this is the worse it will get. See we have become accustomed to the mechanical process of using the computer and the os and the app. The rise of Grok Bot shows this future. With just a few words you can command a legion of real but virtual computers that operate the Apps and OS you once did. And instead of the toiling of dealing with the machine and the nomenclature of the entire process, you just tell it you want X done and you get the results. No code to test no reviews, just the results. This will fundamentally changes the entire tech industry and redefine the way we see iOS vs. Android and MacOS vs. Windows. But also what hardware we run this on. What makes Grok Bot different from other products in the market is the way it treats the user, it need far less input and the way it act upon the user’s needs, the virtual computers. Grok Bot is ready for just about everyone. It is not pointed to developers. And this is the core strength. Some are at a historic milestone where the mechanical work of the user will been seen as quaint. The future will not understand our old thinking. I continue to test but I am at 100% of my use for now. But I shall find a way. This is a big wave of change.

Incroyables!
France Minister of Transportation on @Tesla's FSD in new video: "The safety trade-offs are not yet sufficient to authorize it as it currently stands. All the more so since this system is not a self-driving system; So what are our concerns? Without going into overly technical detail, there are several. First example: we've found that the system allows for speeding. Another example: according to the data we have, the system doesn't guarantee an optimal level of driver attention in urban settings and during the most complex maneuvers, such as lane changes, intersections, or roundabouts. So what are the next steps? We're currently continuing our technical discussions with the Netherlands, other European states, and Tesla to refine our analysis. Last week, a representative from the Ministry of Transport's services traveled to the Netherlands. I want to emphasize this: France supports these technologies, and their deployment must happen within a framework of trust that allows us to evaluate the systems and determine what adjustments FSD needs to guarantee a high level of safety. This autumn, I will also be bringing together the French autonomous vehicle ecosystem to present the levers that will accelerate the deployment of this technology and to set a direction for the coming years. In France, we're fortunate to have world-class automakers and automotive suppliers, as well as some of the best engineers in the world in artificial intelligence and digital technology. We have real cards to play, and we're ready to play them — but never at the expense of safety on our roads."

Turns out that @JoeTegtmeyer is the best way to follow Tesla’s progress, better than any analyst in my opinion. His drone videos with his knowledgeable comments carry all that $TSLA investors need to know. Becoming a Patreon. Thank you for your work 🙏🚀

The dura is the brain's armor: a membrane so tough that a surgeon normally cuts through it with a scalpel. For the first time in our clinical trials, we inserted the electrode threads of our implant straight through the dura and into the cortex, keeping the dura intact. Here's how we did it 🧵

I bookmarked this 6 years ago. Amazing how Elon puts everything out there. One just needs to listen. @davelee told us the WHAT, @TeslaBoomerMama nailed the HOW. Two of the best thought leaders and good hearted people of the Tesla community. Thank you! Show time 🚀

This is craft using words 🎯 It unlocks a world of understanding.
