One of many things I enjoy about getting older (55) is being able to help my parents. Mom is 83 & dad turns 84 next month. My sweet mama had a pretty serious surgery on Thursday & has a 3-4 months recovery ahead of her. I’ve been at the lake since the surgery to give my dad a break & make some meals for them before my older sister comes & stays with them next week. It is such a blessing to just sit & listen to them talk & watch how my dad loves & cares for my mom. They’ve been married 63 years. It matters who you marry. Just wanted to share that. ❤️🧂

MEN in women’s sports isn’t degrading to women? STFU. 3. You’ll march in pussy costumes for abortions but a naked ad is objectifying women? STFU. 4. The outrage is her ASSUMED politics, not her ad. It’s hard to believe a day I remember so vividly happened 25 years ago. I’m as affected by it today as I was then. We were united in patriotism, anger, and sorrow. My respect for First Responders grew more than I thought possible. 9/11 is a day I reflect on a lot of things. Original content should’ve been the only content rewarded in the first place. Instead, X allowed large accounts to steal from smaller accounts & get paid for it. Now social media is only “social” if you agree with everyone “on your side” and “media” is a stretch. All the BREAKING news that wasn’t breaking or news, ruined it.

I've never in my life walked away from a baseball game thinking an umpire got a call wrong on purpose. They make mistakes all the time, as all humans do, but I've never thought one was intentional before. Doug Eddings intentionally botched that play at home plate. He knew the Cardinals couldn't challenge. He had just been embarrassed by Oli after whining about a player's hat, ejecting him, and then calling a vindictive pitch-clock violation for no reason other than pure ego. Then he absolutely botched that call at the plate on purpose. He was looking right at it. It was as blatant as could be. This is a new one for me. I've never seen an umpire make an intentionally bad call in retaliation before. Shameful. Hell of a win by the #stlcards though. I hope @MLB investigates that one.
