WORLD CHAMPIONS 🏆 @ChelseaFC 💙 | Messi 🐐 | Tactics when serious, banter when not

Chelsea fans after losing a game : The manager didn't play player B or we would have won Chelsea fans after winning a bogey fixture with the first clean sheets of the season : Player B should have played and shouldn't be kept on the bench
With Cole Palmer and Morgan Rogers firing on all cylinders, Xabi Alonso should try and change his setup and unleash Estevao and Quenda so they can hunt. Letting elite teenage talents rot on the bench is a bad look for Chelsea when we try to attract young players.

Top 3 right now. Maybe Brighton would falter later in the season. We are 3rd and need to create distance with the ones behind us. Hopefully we do against Spurs and United Winning Everton away and dropping points to Spurs home would feel pretty anti climactic ngl

There's a difference between a better goal scoring team and a better attack. Chelsea have the best attack in the league. Brighton still are the best goals scoring team because most of their players can chip in with goals. They don't have the best attack. Long term, I do see Chelsea becoming like Brighton with other players chipping in with goals. Henderson already has.
Yesterday i posted that i would take Brighton attack over Chelsea’s own and their fans got måd at me. Football fans! Based on the PL table, which attack will you call the best?

No one told you to take our "title challenge" seriously. Focus on your team And btw, we conceded so many goals because we didn't have a midfield and the team is learning Alonso's OOP structure. We have conceded one goal in the last 2 games
One look was all it took me to realize Chelsea are not a threat. They’ve conceded FIVE more goals than the second highest in the top 9 and they want us to take their “title hunt” seriously. Once the season gets into the rhythm they’ll fall off. You saw it here first. Don’t let their 4th place fool you.

If your definition of a good game is GA then you aren't gonna be convinced by him at all
I'm still yet to be convinced by you anyways. One good game won't make me change my mind.

4 out of their 5 conceded goals came vs Chelsea and we had Gusto in midfield. Terrible odds 🤣
Brighton will have 8 clean sheets in 11 games this season bro

Alex Scott will be blue and is the game changer. We need a floater around the pitch that can collect from deep + run it down + shuttles round the park ( wijnaldum ) like I said. We’re the new Liverpool. Deadliest front 3 itl, flying fullbacks, Caicedo - Scott ( Fabinho/gini)
Marco Palestra changes everything when he’s back + firing with Moises caicedo. You don’t have to worry about subpar wingback play when he is basically our Bradley Barcola that should defend. A tactical Swiss Army knife and the 🔑in an Alonso system. With the iteration of the squad now Alex Scott WILL provide the same value Palestra provides on the flanks. I’ve thought about it and

You don't blame him even if it's his fault. You say "he trusts his teammates to do the job off the ball" instead
Brighton are PUMPING Palace. Can’t even blame Wharton, the goals aren’t even his fault😭😭😭

Hurzeler developed the perfect balance between attack and defence and it took him 2 full seasons to do it. Xabi in his first season destroyed his defence. And we are still on course to find the balance ourselves but we still remain the only team to beat Brighton this season.
🚨🚨𝗡𝗘𝗪: Only 5 goals conceded by Brighton in the Premier League this season. Chelsea scored 4 and are still the only team to defeat them.

How the hell was the linesman so sure that Ndoye was offside? That was too close to stop the game before letting the whole attack play out

Regardless of the type of person he is, I always believed he is an elite manager. But at the same time, having a squad with players bought as a result of breaking the rules and with money the club wasn't legally allowed to spend certainly helps. You know what else helps? Having refs in your pockets.
7️⃣ Enzo Maresca, the first manager in the Premier League history to win all his first 7 games in charge.

Why is it suddenly only about goals? Assists don't matter? Chance creation doesn't matter? And it's not just Alonso, literally every manager prefers Neto in the team. Why do you think that is? Because he works hard at the opposite end of the pitch as well. Estevao will get his chances when the team starts to deliver more consistent defensive performances like yesterday. Once Alonso is sure the midfield and defence are good enough to not concede more than 1 goal per game, Estevao will get more gametime. Until then, he has to do well in cup games Next season if we have UCL, and hopefully we would, Estevao would naturally play more. December has a lot of games. Estevao will play then as well because Alonso will have to rotate.
“Apologise to Pedro Neto.” He’s been in the EPL for nine seasons and has never scored more than five league goals. At Chelsea: 4⚽️ in 35Apps 5⚽️ in 34 Apps Now he’s scored 3⚽️ in 7 games this season. Players like Estêvão will double that output with the same chances.

System? Was a back 4. And these are exactly the type of performances the team needs to put in before Estevao can be introduced in the lineup. More defensively solid performances and you'd see Estevao more
Clubs should be all over Estêvão. He’s a superstar talent who should be playing regular football at the elite level. There’s not a single club where he wouldn’t fit. Real, Barca, Bayern, PSG… that’s his level. Yet Chelsea and Alonso can’t give him mins because of the system!!

By this logic, City fans shouldn't be celebrating anything at all given they have the most expensive team for over a decade and their players are bought using money they were not legally allowed to spend
The fact that Chelsea fans are shamelessly celebrating a win over Everton shows how much football has fallen off. Everton's squad is worth €465.1M compared to Chelsea's €1.25B. What exactly did you expect the match to end like? Chelsea didn't do anything special, yet their fans are celebrating.

70% win percentage and he was struggling?? He just inherited a team with a bunch of egos and superiority complex
Xabi Alonso struggled in La Liga, moved to the Premier League and is already dominating. I'm tired, man. I don't want to argue La Liga vs. the Premier League anymore.

Rogers contact on Garner actually comes from Garner kicking the ball onto Rogers feet who is also going for the ball. Pushes Rogers feet upwards and it grazed Garner. From the other angle though, Garner literally is directly stomping on Rogers
Not even a second yellow. That's a straight red. He's checked his leg to make flush stud contact with the knee.
