At a loss for words on the 25th anniversary of 9/11. Then I watched nearly 200 @FordhamNYC students, many born years later, climb 2,200 stadium steps in honor of the ascent FDNY firefighters undertook that day. They showed up. They remembered. I have hope for this generation.

Nearly 200 @FordhamNYC students joined our 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb w/@heart911team, climbing 2,200 steps in honor of the ascent the FDNY undertook that day. Candles were lit as the names of 36 alumni and three students killed in the attacks were read. We will never forget.

20 years ago Stand Up for Heroes was born out of a simple idea: bring people together with music and laughter to honor those who have sacrificed so much for our country.
We thought it would be a one-time thing. But together with the @nycomedyfest we've raised $117 million for veterans, military families, and caregivers. It's become one of the most meaningful nights of the year.
This November 9th we're back at Lincoln Center for the 20th anniversary show! The milestone show will feature special musical performances by @springsteen, @the_resilient_, and @alexwaarren, and headline comedy sets from @JoshJohnson, Hasan Minhaj, and @jonstewart.
Bob's promise 20 years ago was to always have the backs of those who have ours. Join Bob (and The Boss!) on November 9th as we celebrate this milestone and reaffirm his promise to a whole new generation of American heroes.
