Last fiscal year I paid in over £1750 to my student loan via automatic repayments. My net balance still increased by over £500 due to the insane interest charged in Plan 2.
If inflation hots up again due to the Iran war, I'll probably still be paying this loan off in my 50s.

Six Flags Magic Mountain has announced the closure of X2. Considering everything that’s happened, this is not much of a surprise. While I will of course miss the attraction, ultimately I think this was the right move.

Due to GWR's genius tier timetabling, today I had the pleasure of a 40 minute change in Swindon. It was 5pm on a Sunday, and totally dead. Nothing was open except Greggs, and the Greggs wasn't even able to take card payments.
