I don't think I like how a lot of FW maps punish fast play. Like oftentimes you can get far enough in a map on turns 1-3 that you can trigger reinforcements early and just get fucking annihilated by the enemies that you ignored to get to that point when combined with them.

Not reinforcements necessarily but on dietrich 1-3 you can flip 2 of 3 objective switches on turn 1. But if you do this the overblaze anatolia that can one round dietrich at this point in the game will start moving and block the path to the third switch and "softlock" you.

The problem with the Dagsion activities of Fortunes Weave is that they just feel like Grinding that you are expected to do if you want to interface with many of the systems within the game at all.

It's kind of insane that I picked Dietrich Route first because I thought mr murder's story was going to be dogshit and I might as well get it out of the way. Little did I know that it was going to be way better than it should have but they'd fumble every other route in comparison

I REALLY hope that the new routes are more tightly designed than the main ones but thats usually the case with dlc content in FE so im not too worried? This game is already incredibly massive so more content like part 2 would be appreciated

Against Unika in this specific situation, going for this can be stronger than it seems at first because this also functionally OS's laser if you time it right and also jumps delay low. The only thing that directly beats this is immediate low, which is trivial to fuzzy block.
Similar to the deflect shield on landing tech, air IB's also can be used to get punishes where you usually can't
Unika overhead is usually -6, and on airblock in this situation is +6, but air IB makes her +8 allowing for a c.S punish and even spacing for it.
