A new lawsuit alleges that OpenAI sent real user conversations to outside contractors as part of a program reportedly called “Project Lily”. According to the complaint, reviewers could read entire conversations, summarize what the user wanted, then rate and critique ChatGPT’s responses. Want to leave Gmail but have thousands of emails to deal with first? This small open-source script can save you a lot of time. It uses Google Apps Script to automatically move Gmail messages to the trash, in batches of 100. It targets in:anywhere, which means it can include emails from your inbox, archive, sent mail and spam. A few things to know before using it: → Make a Google Takeout backup first and check that it works. → The script moves emails to the trash. It does not immediately delete them permanently. → You still need to empty the trash afterwards. → If execution stops because of Google Apps Script's time limits, you can run it again. → Don't use it blindly on a work or school account. In the UK, two users can have the same iPhone and use iCloud… but not have the same level of encryption. Apple removed Advanced Data Protection (ADP) for new UK users in 2025. Users who had already enabled it are not automatically switched off. They have a period to disable ADP themselves if they want to keep using their iCloud account. Without ADP, 10 additional iCloud data categories, including backups, Photos, Notes and iCloud Drive, fall back to standard data protection. With ADP, those categories are protected by end-to-end encryption. I came across an interesting project for the Galaxy Tab S8+. Someone is bringing mainline Linux + postmarketOS to Samsung’s tablet, and it’s already surprisingly far along. You can already run KDE Plasma 6 with: 🔹2800×1752 OLED display at 120 Hz 🔹Hardware accelerated Adreno 730 graphics 🔹Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 🔹Touchscreen and S Pen 🔹Book Cover Keyboard 🔹Audio The cameras and several sensors are also working, although some parts are still being developed. ⚠️ There’s a major catch: unlocking the bootloader permanently trips Samsung Knox, and Knox/Samsung Pay features remain lost even if you return to stock Android. The project also only works with certain firmware versions. Devices with bootloader binary 9 or lower qualify, while newer binary A/B firmware does not.
