See, predict, validate. Crypto behavioral intelligence since 2016: social, on-chain, developer data for analysts, funds, builders — via Sanbase, API, MCP.

🌱 Founder story: from data to ownership. Ten years ago, Maksim Balashevich, Santiment founder and CEO, was browsing crypto chat rooms by hand, watching for the moment a crowd settled on a story. The data problem he set out to fix is mostly solved now. The one underneath it isn’t: good judgment still goes unowned. 👉 The first in a series: how Santiment started, what didn’t work, and where Score, our new platform, came from.

🚨 Sui, Ethena, & Near Lead One of Crypto’s Best Performing Weeks! 🚀 Crypto is closing out one of its strongest weeks of the year. $ENA/ ethereum:0x8be3460a480c80728a8c4d7a5d5303c85ba7b3b9 is up 49%, $SUI 45%, $NEAR 41%, ethereum:0xfaba6f8e4a5e8ab82f62fe7c39859fa577269be3 39%, and $XRP 22% over seven days. Even Friday has stayed hot, with $SUI +20%, $ENA +17%, and $LINK and $NEAR around +15%. 93 of the top 100 tracked assets have risen today, with altcoin participation at a three-month high. 🏃 Bitcoin’s run from below $63K in August to nearly $87K helped unlock the rotation. ETF’s have also absorbed roughly $4B since August, while new U.S. rules have opened more doors for tokenized finance. NEAR additionally benefited from a sixfold jump in ZEC swap volume through NEAR Intents, while ONDO launched new onchain portfolios using strategies developed by BlackRock. 👍 The positive case is participation. Money is spreading from Bitcoin into DeFi, tokenization, Layer 1’s, and cross-chain projects instead of concentrating in just a few names. If ETF demand and this rotation continue, the market has room to extend without immediately depending on fresh retail FOMO. 😬 The risk is how quickly some coins have already moved. Weekly gains near 40%-50% invite profit-taking, while rising derivatives activity can make pullbacks much sharper once momentum cools. A healthy next week would probably include some consolidation rather than every leader continuing vertically higher. 🔗 Live Data Screener: app.santiment.net/screener?u…

$QNT’s on-chain activity stepped up on Sep 16, eight days before its Clearing House headline. 📊 Active addresses topped 870 every day from Sep 16 to 23. From Sep 1 to 15 they never passed 792. 🆕 New addresses ran about 1.8x their Sep 1 to 15 weekday average over the same stretch. 🔀 Price didn’t follow at first: $61.17 on Sep 15, $61.05 on Sep 17. 🏛️ On Sep 24, The Clearing House picked Quant to power its tokenized deposit network. Active addresses hit 2,064 that day, the most since Nov 15, 2025, and price rose 27%. What we don’t know is why Sep 16. Binance announced that day it would drop its QNT/USDC pair. Bank usage of Quant’s network wouldn’t show up in these token metrics either way. What’s your read on Sep 16? Tell us if you spotted a catalyst. 🔗 Track QNT active addresses and new addresses in Sanbase: app.santiment.net/charts/qnt…

🚨 Ethereum’s Tradable Supply Keeps Getting Smaller, Makes History 🔒 Ethereum keeps disappearing from exchanges. Just 3.49% of $ETH supply now sits on tracked exchanges, with another 1.16% of total supply moving off since June 1st. Exchange balances were already at their lowest levels since Ethereum’s earliest years this summer. 📉 Fewer coins on exchanges means fewer coins sitting one click away from being sold. It doesn’t guarantee higher prices, but it reduces the pool of ETH readily available to hit the market during the next wave of selling. 🥩 Staking and DeFi help explain where some of that ETH is going. Roughly 35% of ETH is estimated to be staked, while Ethereum currently holds about $53B in DeFi value, giving holders reasons to earn yield, lend, provide liquidity, or simply keep their ETH working onchain. 🧲 Long-term conviction is keeping more ETH away from exchange order books. Even large treasury holders are increasingly staking their coins, with BitMine alone reporting more than 5M ETH staked earlier this month. If demand strengthens while available exchange supply stays this scarce, buyers have fewer immediately available coins to compete for. 🔗 Live Chart: app.santiment.net/charts/eth…

Is the $UNI rally accumulation? Price added ~30% between Sep 17 and Sep 22, across the SEC’s tokenized-stock exemption and CME’s futures announcement. The exchange data points the other way. 🔀 UNI held on exchanges rose by 6.3M tokens from Sep 17 to Sep 23, about $58M at the Sep 23 close. 📉 The two heaviest inflow days were Sep 22 and Sep 23. Price closed Sep 23 down ~10%. 🧭 Exchange supply now sits within 0.2% of its 60-day high, set Aug 30. What we still don’t know: whether those tokens are headed for a sale, a hedge or collateral. Deposits show supply available to sell, not a decision to sell. The rally pulled UNI onto exchanges, not off them. 🔗 Track UNI exchange flows in Sanbase: app.santiment.net/charts/uni…

Is the bitcoin-cash:native rally institutional money? The CME contracts that would carry it don’t start trading until Oct 19. So far, the positioning is on existing perp venues: 📈 Trading volume ran ~7x its Aug 24 to Sep 20 daily average on both Sep 22 and Sep 23. 🔀 Open interest nearly doubled on announcement day, from ~$151M to ~$295M. 📉 On Sep 23, open interest shed ~10% while price slipped ~2%. 📊 Social volume hit ~3x its baseline on Sep 22, then fell by a third the next day. If this is sell the rumor, the fact is still 25 days away. 🔗 Track BCH open interest and volume in Sanbase: app.santiment.net/charts/bch…

🚨 XRP And DOGE Flash Deep Long-Term MVRV Discounts 📊 The 365-day MVRV is showing a big split between major coins. BTC, ETH, and LINK are slightly above 0%, meaning the average trader active over the past year is sitting on a small profit. XRP is around -11.75%, while DOGE is near -19.26%. 📉 Lower MVRV usually means less downside risk. When most holders are already underwater, there are fewer profitable traders waiting to sell. Buying during that pain has historically offered better long-term setups. 🐕 XRP and DOGE stand out the most right now. Their average long-term traders are still deep in the red, even after the recent market rebound. That gives them more room to recover if demand keeps improving. 🧐 BTC, ETH, and LINK aren’t suddenly "bad buys" just because their MVRV is slightly positive. But when comparing opportunities, assets far below 0% often deserve extra attention. The deeper the losses compared with other coins, the more interesting the setup can become. 🔗 Live Chart: app.santiment.net/charts/top…

🐳 Bitcoin’s 100-1,000 $BTC wallets are accumulating fast. Since July 15, they’ve added 113,950 BTC, growing their collective holdings by 2.22% to roughly 5.24M BTC. 🧠 This wallet tier has historically been one of Bitcoin’s most useful smart money groups to watch. Santiment’s five-year analysis found 100-1,000 BTC wallets particularly have correlated quite closely with crypto market direction, with accumulation often appearing before or during stronger price periods. 📈 The signal gets more interesting when price follows their holdings higher. Bitcoin has climbed sharply since mid-August while this group continued stacking, suggesting the rally has had support from well-capitalized holders rather than relying entirely on retail excitement. 💸 Sustained buying from the 100-1,000 BTC group has historically been valuable alpha, especially when paired with retail fear, sentiment, and exchange-flow data. 🔗 Live Chart: app.santiment.net/charts/btc…

Caveats. Peak attention was 26 mentions in a day, so a few posts can move this line. “Derive” is also an everyday word, so some counts may be unrelated. We’d revisit this read if mentions climb back above 20 a day. [4/4] 🔗 Explore DRV in Social Trends in Sanbase: app.santiment.net/labs/trend…

Then the lines split. Mentions hit 25 on Sep 19, when price closed at ~$0.43. By Sep 22 they were back to 9, and price closed at the same ~$0.43. The price held after the chatter faded. [3/4]
