(the local bike trail is called the "Galloping Goose" and was named for a 1930s railcar. apparently not certain how the railcar got the name, except maybe it had an air horn instead of a whistle)

I forgot to update: I went on a rabbithole about this poem, and turns out it was from 99centbroadsides, a now-defunct Etsy shop featuring the poetry of Clayton Peacock
(which might've been the pen name of Jim Fisher, who ran the shop? unclear!)
