For years, Thames Water has been feeding a very greedy tiger.
The company has been loaded with billions in debt, while its ageing infrastructure has been starved of investment. Pipes are leaking, sewage pollution is rife, customers are being let down and our rivers are paying the price.
But the next chapter for Thames Water doesn't have to be more of the same.
The Prime Minister has a choice: prop up the same failed system – or use Special Administration to create the opportunity to rebuild Thames Water to serve customers and protect our rivers, not private financial interests.
The Government has the power re-write the Thames Water story. Now it must use it.
👉 Email the Prime Minister today and tell him and his Government: don’t prop up a system that has already failed. Use Special Administration to secure a better future for Thames Water.

. @FishLegal_ criticises the EA’s 2028 River Wye assessment deadline after a decade of legal action.
That would be 13 years from the binding 2015 commitment just to decide whether to seek stronger controls.
The Wye needs action now.
