I just didn’t want to show somebody’s username over a silly post! Here’s it uncropped when I took it. There wasn’t any clarifying caption. I’m super sorry about all this and didn’t intend for it to hurt anybody. I’ve deleted the OG post now that I know.

I just woke up, so I’m very sorry it took me a bit to get to this. I don’t know what I can do further besides delete the OG post and clarify the situation, but I am again very sorry.

This was something I just thought was silly and wanted to laugh about with my friends. Going forward I’ll only post things if I’d be comfortable with them reaching a wider audience.

Is this a safe space to say that calling Abdul el-Sayed “mean mamdani” or Mamdani’s alter ego is weird? They are both Muslim democrats and that’s really it. Abdul is not “mean,” he’s just somewhat blunt. They deserve to have their own careers without constant comparison.
