As in the Supreme Court case Carpenter v. United States, the Federal court found that people have a reasonable expectation of privacy in their movements and that Flock violated those rights.
This is a victory for us.
Yes, we want to remove the cameras altogether, and we will keep working to do so, but if the courts want to impose additional restrictions on their use in the meantime, that can only be a good thing.

The other problem is that this would create more cases of "mutual rape" where two drunk people have sex, and either neither of them is responsible, or both of them are. The intuition that only the man should be responsible is common, but legally unworkable.
Changing the law is open to debate, but can't be done retroactively to prosecute this case. But this is easier to say than to craft into law. Should it be illegal for a woman to get drunk and have a one-night stand? I'm open to "yes," but that's the question.
Also, maybe outlaw group sex entirely.

I am old enough to remember when we were told no go zones don’t exist.
Outrage in France after Bally Bagayoko, the far-left mayor of the country’s most infamous no-go zone Saint-Denis joined student rioters who were attacking a high school in the area.
He could be seen laughing with them, giving high fives and jumping up and down.
Bagayoko is the mayor of 150 000 people, of which around 90% are immigrants, second-generation migrants and third-generation migrants.
