Highland Park 2027 QB Buck Randall had a really strong showing on Friday in the Scots first win of the 2026 season.
The SMU commit finished 21/30 for 358 yards and 3 PaTD while displaying good command of an offense he’s now operating for a third consecutive season. All coming a week after breaking Matthew Stafford’s all-time career passing yardage record that stood for ~20 years. To my knowledge the only two QBs to start for three seasons in the historic program’s history. #txhsfb

Highland Park 2029 WR Beckett Lawrence could be the next special slot receiver for a Scots program that has produced some great ones in the Randy Allen era of offense.
Lawrence has compiled 15 receptions for 278 yards and 4 TD through three games. Has proven he can make difficult plays over the middle while also just showing a natural feel for route running. Ran an 11.4 100M as a freshman last year. #txhsfb
