Jesus, they're shopping in books from everywhere around the world to steal and destroy. AI companies are the absolute lowest criminals on earth. Throw them all in jail. Our governments across the globe are failing us for not recognizing this massive heist for what it is yet.
AI companies in the US are buying up books from Japan. An investigation by NTV journalists found 50 tons of books have been shipped to the US to be scraped for AI and then physically destroyed.

This is misleading. What the report actually says is that we must — AND CAN — limit the worst damage by stopping warming fast and declining it to below 1.5°C.
Don't fall for doomer headlines. We can win a livable future, and it's a disgrace that our leaders aren't acting.
The UN has updated their climate report, warning that humans have lost the chance to reverse the worst damage of climate change.
