Doors at 9. By 10 you’re sitting in front of Mary Pender
from WME, Craig Gering from CAA and Kailey Marsh of the Blood List — the hour most writers never get to be in the room for, and we put it first on purpose.
11:30, three showrunners from entirely different backgrounds: Sam Esmail, Soo Hugh,
Meredith Scardino. Mr. Robot, Pachinko, Girls5eva.
After lunch, four Academy Award-winning screenwriters on
one stage — John Patrick Shanley, Kenneth Lonergan,
Alexander Dinelaris, Geoffrey Fletcher.
Then at 3:30, Phil Lord and Chris Miller close the day.
Two networking breaks, because half the reason people come is who they end up sitting next to.
No guild card.
No industry badge.
Anyone can buy a ticket.
