Scroll is upgrading its prover stack from OpenVM v1.6 to v2.0 on September 22 at 02:00 UTC.
This update brings in the SWIRL proof system and the latest security fixes.
You don’t need to do anything. Transactions, deposits, and L2 execution will keep running as usual. The batch finalization will be delayed by approximately one hour.

1/ We’re upgrading Scroll’s zkVM prover stack from OpenVM v1.4.1 to v1.6.0.
This is a focused security maintenance upgrade that brings important soundness fixes and raises the provable security level.
No changes to the EVM, fees, contracts, or any user-facing interfaces.
