20 signals is a good move for applicants.
Apply where you mean it. Less pan-applying, less taking interview spots from applicants who really need them.
Hey #Physiatry#Match2026 applicants…. Did you 👀 @AAMCtoday released the new list of specialties participating in signaling?
⚠️ BIG CHANGES TO PM&R AHEAD ⚠️

Wondering about what happens between the time you submit your rank list and when you match? Wondering what match week looks like? Do you have general questions about the match? If so, our post-match panel is for you!
ALT "A promotional post for the AAP (Association of Academic Physiatrists) Road to Residency #Match2025 Bonus Seminar, titled ""Post-Match Panel."" The event is scheduled for Tuesday, April 22, 2024, at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET and will be accessible via physiatry.org/webinars.
The flyer features a blue background with a blurred outdoor scene. It includes the names and headshots of two attending physicians:
Jamie Key, DO (University of Kentucky, Program Director)
Nikola Dragojlovic, DO (UTHealth Houston, Program Director)
Below them are names and headshots of four incoming PM&R residents:
Kikelomo Sekoni, MS4 (Central Michigan University COM, Matched: Northwestern)
Matthew Lee, MS4 (Hackensack Meridian SOM, Matched: Rutgers-NJMS/Kessler)
Reilly Edmonds, MS4 (A.T. Still University SOM, Matched: UT Austin Dell Med)
Lauren Clarke, MS4 (Stanford University SOM, Matched: Northwestern)
I see this too often in notes, so I KNOW some of you need to learn this distinction:
✅ "Rousable" - able to be awakened
❌ "Arousable" - THIS IS SOMETHING YOU SHOULD NOT BE TESTING ON ROUNDS
Biggest tip to PGY0s: get new technology NOW!!! When you do orientation, your phone/ laptop gets loaded with all the apps, Citrix, password-protected stuff and it’s a huge headache to upgrade later on
