This is why we unfortunately have to advise the fighters in the back during fight instructions not to stop until we tell you to stop. The attacking fighter is stopping on his own accord because he believes his opponent is going unconscious. The referee sees that he is not unconscious. The referee has not called an end to the fight so the attacking fighter should have continued to hold his RNC until advised to stop by the referee.

Being different is very important for new MMA organisations. I'm all for this.

Farid-Matsumoto was excellent and it didn’t even win FOTN. Dana himself has said the matchmakers are completely jaded with MMA at this point. There’s no fire there anymore.
