Modern software tooling is amazing. I can go from zero to working thing that I don't understand at all and have zero chance of debugging in a timely fashion quicker than you can say "thank god I don't have to support this thing".

For several months, I have been inching towards building mutation testing "directly into" Pony. Mostly figuring out wtf that means. But...
I am a big fan of mutation testing (but its expensive normally). And I think that agents make it even more important than it was before.
I am closing in on having pre-req 0's done and then can move on to the first of many steps.
Good times. Good times.
Meanwhile, I also have my other "software correctness" track going for greatly improving the security posture in Pony.
Ya, I'm a security, and testing, AND i wanna go fast kind of compiler/runtime/programming language developer.

its funny we call them agents because by most definitions, they don't have agency, its "just" that the bar for what agency means in automation that we would even consider call what agents do agency.

As some folks who know me know, I am very gung-ho on mutation testing in general. Also this is just awesome.
Mutation testing is a powerful technique that essentially lets you test your testing. Historically, it's been extremely difficult to mutation test test suites for distributed systems -- we've just solved that with a new Antithesis agent skill that creates deep distributed system bugs, then runs them through our bug zapper for you.
