Here is my Florida Property Tax History. The current Homestead Exemption is $50,000. If it was bumped to $250,000, it would bring me back to around 2014 level of payment. A lot of people would be in a similar situation. They would still be paying Property Tax but with some much needed relief. Newer home buyers need this more than I do. And low/fixed income seniors deserve this...
