The ribbon cutting at the Socrates site for the new Williams power generation plant was energizing, both literally and figuratively. This plant is a prime example of the results of HB 15 and Ohio’s commitment to being a leader in investment, development, and innovation.

Meigs county has been impacted by recent back-to-back rainfall events. Nearly 7 inches of rain caused rapid flooding, to a level last seen in 1998.

Townships, the county, the state, and many volunteers have all worked diligently to recover from the flooding to return to a level of normalcy. Thank you to the county engineers for spending time to show me impacted areas.

As NetJets is far more than private air travel (which I have never experienced), the Flight Safety organization is far more than just a safety certification. I was expecting a generic simulator to be programed to replicate various types of aircraft.

However, each simulator is an exact replica of the aircraft the pilots are flying, down to every switch and light. Details matter in training and I am thankful for the many dedicated folks in this industry.
