Comparing basketball eras is hard bc the rules, pace, ath. training, and style of play change dramatically from one decade to the next. Players from different generations face completely different contexts, making direct statistical or stylistic comps hypothetical and unprovable.

No doubt! My ABA Committee voted Dampier into the HOF. Unfortunately, chairman Jerry Colangelo disbanded it before the seven man committee could rightfully elect Jones, Mack Calvin, Willie Wise, Ron Boone, Mike Storen, and others to the Hall of Fame.
