ALT Between Light and Silence In this blue-hued space, light has found a way through the darkness; quietly and without a sound, as though it has been searching for this very moment for centuries. The tiles, patterns, and arches stand in silence, yet every motif carries a story of time— a story read not through words, but through light and shadow. Perhaps some places were not made merely to be seen; they were made for us to pause, to listen to the silence, and to find the light that always remains, somewhere within the darkness. This image was captured at Chaharbagh School in Isfahan, a magnificent Safavid-era monument from the late Safavid period, also known as Sultani School and Madar-Shah School. Here, architecture, tilework, and light continue, after centuries, their silent dialogue with one another.
