Reports indicate that authorities have begun fortifying key entry points around Islamabad ahead of the planned protests.
> Metal spikes and sand filled containers have reportedly been welded/placed on Attock Bridge, a major crossing between Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab.
> More than 2,000 containers and around 30,000 security personnel are reportedly deployed in Attock.
> Hospitals have reportedly been instructed to prepare for a possible surge in casualties.
And this is how Pakistan somehow gets better ratings on the Happiness Index, Democracy Index, Freedom of Press Index and other so-called “global” indices, while India keeps getting lectures from the West.
