Some journey! ❤️
Let’s see what’s next.
CLUB STATEMENT | 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲
Reluctantly, we can confirm a change in First Team management following the resignation of Shane Clarke last weekend.
Shane leaves after a hugely successful period with the club, overseeing back-to-back promotions from the Nottinghamshire Senior League into the United Counties Football League, alongside lifting the NSL Cup following victory over Aslockton & Orston FC.
He departs with an outstanding record of 86 wins from 128 games, having played a significant role in establishing FCV Grace Dieu within the National League System.
Shane has made the decision to step away to focus on new opportunities. The club would like to place on record its sincere thanks for his commitment, leadership and considerable contribution to the club’s progress.
We also thank Assistant Manager, George Zuerner and Goalkeeper Coach, James Hilton, who depart alongside Shane, for their hard work and contribution to the success achieved during their time with the club.

We welcome 3 new signings in 𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐓𝐨𝐦𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐧 (CM), 𝐊𝐲𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐨 𝐈𝐬𝐚𝐚𝐜 (LB) and 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐡𝐨𝐢 𝐃𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐭𝐭 (GK). All three players are current Antigua & Barbuda senior national team players and are looking to make an immediate impact.
“I’ve known about all 3 players for some time and I’m glad they’ve chosen to join @FCVAcademy and continue their player development with myself. Three very talented young players who have a bright future” - @ShaneClarke87
