🇸🇦 Saudi Arabia Has A Serious Rocket Force
I was looking into Saudi Arabia’s MLRS arsenal and honestly, the scale of its rocket artillery is pretty serious.
Open source estimates put the Kingdom at around 327 launchers, although the exact operational number is not publicly confirmed.
🇺🇸 M270 MLRS with 227mm rockets. GMLRS rockets can reach roughly 70 km, depending on the ammunition.
🇧🇷 77 ASTROS II with different rocket types offering different ranges. The range depends heavily on which rocket is being used.
🇷🇺 TOS 1A with a standard range of roughly 6 km, extending to around 10 km with newer rockets. It is built for extremely heavy short range firepower.
🇰🇷 K239 Chunmoo can fire different ammunition, including 131mm rockets reaching 36 km, 230mm rockets reaching 45 km and 239mm guided rockets reaching 80 km.
What caught my attention is how this fits into Saudi Arabia’s wider strike capability.
The Kingdom can combine rocket artillery with its air force and precision strike weapons, giving Saudi forces another layer of firepower against Houthi positions and military infrastructure.
My take is that the real strength isn't simply the number of launchers. It is having different rocket systems with different ranges and capabilities working alongside Saudi airpower.
Saudi Arabia has spent years building this capability.
Now we are seeing the Kingdom put that firepower to work. 🇸🇦

Hundreds of thousands of dollars are pouring in for 81-year-old Donald Johnson after the internet found out he was working 14-hour days to help pay for his wife's cancer treatment.
For the past three years, Johnson has delivered lost luggage after struggling to find other work to cover their bills, all while helping care for Josephine, his wife of 57 years.
Then a North Texas resident saw him struggling with the bags and decided to step in, launching a GoFundMe to help with the couple's medical bills and give Johnson a chance to finally retire.
Now, strangers have raised more than $270,000 for the couple.
Johnson says the support could finally let him put down the luggage and spend more time where he wants to be: by his wife's side.
