Ian Miller, @IhodlD. Co-founder of @xPEPENFT. A husband, a dad, and one of the first people a lot of us ever talked to on the XRP Ledger.
It's built from the messages people posted over the last 24 hours. Over a hundred of you are in it, and that's only what we could fit. There was too many good things said about him to put in here, and many more knew him from a chat, a trade, a game, or something he sent you for no reason other than to make your day.
That was Gillly. He checked on people. He gave things away. He showed up for every project on the Ledger, not just his own.
If you knew him, you most likely have a memory that makes you smile. If you didn't, this is how an XRPL OG is remembered.
You played a good game, Ian. Now it's time to rest. 🐸🖤❤️

We all die, the only you can do about it, is leave a good story for people to tell.
Sometimes life is alot, and you might not reach out to the people you care about, that doesnt mean you dont care, you just have alot going on. I have this problem.
@IhodlD didnt have this issue it seems, because he would reach out to me randomly just to see how I was doing, ask me about collections, and to see if I was okay in life. For 4 years every conversation ive had with this man has been a wholesome light hearted one, If he ever had a ounce of hate it never showed, I dont handle loss well, and this morning im devastated to hear that my friend Gillly has passed.
I am sorry Gillly for not reaching out as much as you did, and I am sorry you will not get to see the unwashed masses buying up all your favorite coins and NFTs, you will be missed dearly. Ty for being you, love you buddy
Gillly is a real one, what i love about Gillly I will carry to the best of my ability into my own life. Call your friends talk to them, appreciate them. Life happens too fast.

The Batch V1.1 amendment shipped in xrpld 3.3.0 and is now up for voting.
After the v1.0 signature bug was caught in February (pre-Mainnet, no funds at risk), we rebuilt it: root-cause fix, 4 senior reviewers, a Sherlock attackathon, and audits from Halborn and Common Prefix. We also fixed a few other bugs our new AI red-teaming efforts caught along the way.

3254 transactions in a single block a few hours ago on the XRP Ledger. New record.
Good opportunity to review an interesting characteristic of the XRP Ledger vs Bitcoin.
Our blocks are dynamic in size limits and not fixed like Bitcoin. XRPL transaction capacity is an adaptive soft target. If the last ledger packed more than the target and still closed fast, the target can rise indicating healthy consensus so the network clears more transactions.
The XRPL doesn't like close times to exceed 5 seconds, if it does, it limits the (target) throughput to get under 5 seconds again.
Also, in said block with 3254 transactions most are 1 drop XRP payment transactions, simple XRP payments are very low load on the network. Many path cross currency, DEX and NFT transactions have higher load footprints. So for example 500 xrp payments constant load might not push the ledger into unhealthy territory but 200 DEX heavy transactions could. Basically not all transactions are equal in load footprint.
I don't know why this person is doing these transactions but looks like throughput testing probably.

Ever since I started using AI bots to do fun things in crypto, Evernode and all of the cool stuff that is built on it seemed like a logical place to go.
Problem is, I am an amateur at best, and evernode is very complicated to understand (for me, at least)

UPDATE
Our developers have completed an initial investigation and traced the stolen funds end-to-end.
Approximately 4,011 wallets were affected, with roughly $452,000 in assets taken. The funds have been traced to a single Ethereum wallet where approximately 445,000 DAI is currently sitting and has not moved.
The investigation has found no evidence that this was a fault with the XRP Ledger itself. The exact method by which the wallet keys were compromised is still being investigated and requires further verification.
We are now focused on blacklisting the relevant addresses and pursuing all available recovery options.
While the funds have been located and remain unmoved, recovery cannot be guaranteed at this stage.
We will continue to update the community as further information is confirmed.

At this point, if you want to build an "app" for whatever you promised on your roadmap, just build an xApp and shove it into @XamanWallet or some sort of dApp via @JoeyWallet.
99.999% of people simply don't have the skills to code and maintain their own wallet and ship it through stores.
Less is more.
