DOVU has formed a new partnership with BCarbon, a carbon registry founded out of a working group at the Baker Institute for Public Policy at Rice University in Texas.
A selection of credits from the BCarbon registry is now available in the DOVU Digital Warehouse.
Every BCarbon credit onboarded to DOVU OS includes an audit trail permanently documenting the credit's entire lifecycle, publicly traceable on
@hedera.
For BCarbon project developers, integration with DOVU OS means credits reach buyers faster and with less friction.
DOVU's managed services simplifies the complexity of onboarding and project documentation, through to asset issuance and retirement, so that developers can focus on the work that generates the credits, not the process of getting them to market.
“By integrating with third-party marketplaces, we’re removing the complexity from carbon credit transactions. Developers can focus on delivering quality projects, and buyers get the traceability they need to purchase with confidence. That level of transparency is essential in today’s carbon market.” — Eric Unverzagt, CEO, BCarbon
“We have built DOVU OS to be the infrastructure of digital green credits at scale. BCarbon has built one of the most rigorous registries in the market: real measurement, real additionality, science-led from the ground up. Bringing their credits onto DOVU OS means every tonne they issue now has a complete, permanent audit trail behind it. That's what buyers need, and it's what this market has been missing.” — Irfon Watkins, CEO, DOVU
