I'm open sourcing Pickaxes, a C library for calibrating and shaping analog sticks and triggers on 32-bit microcontrollers, designed for people building portables and custom controllers. github.com/loopj/pickaxes
The post circulating on Reddit about an 81" Sony Rear Projection TV is completely fake.
The images are all AI generated/edited; lots of visual artifacts everywhere. Don't believe everything you see on the internet.
Here's my open source implementation of a 4-port USB GameCube Controller Adapter, compatible with Wii-U, Switch, Switch 2, and Dolphin, powered by libjoybus - github.com/loopj/usb-gamecub…
Why are we okay with no physical releases on PC, but not on console?
I genuinely think discontinuing physical media is a very bad thing, but why is our outlook on it so different between PC and console?
I am working on a new Wii portable, and wanted to experiment with case materials. I was going to order what I wanted from @PCBWayOfficial, but they offered store credit to cover the cost if I make 2 posts tagging them. Here's a thread review of my experience ordering resin prints
And once again, full disclosure:
-I designed the parts
-I was gonna place this order anyway
-They offered me store credit for 2 posts tagging them
-I was not paid for this
-They gave no talking points, and didn't tell me what to say
-They did not review this post before posting
Honestly, they just asked for a pic and a tag. Instead of just that, I wanted to do a full review to add more nuance and info. I personally find more detailed posts like this more interesting and useful. Thanks for reading
Macbook Neo processor in an Apple-TV / Mac-Mini style box for $200-$300 would completely upend the business and education market. Apple TV currently uses an iPhone chip (albeit a weaker one), at one point has active cooling, and sells for $130. Seems feasible?
