I see no reason why this isn’t true as well of visual arts like drawing.
That if you follow only one system’s doctrine you become limited.
That the true way to learn is to take from each system what works and discard what doesn’t to understand the whole

Realised a similarity that art beginners and masters share is a curiosity and joy for learning the craft.
That somewhere along the way intermediates tend to lose it. Studying becomes an obligation and a means to an end over something intrinsically meaningful.
