i’ve been looking into
@paperdao_xyz and the idea is actually pretty simple.
paperDAO is basically a community owned treasury built around the launch of
@papertrade_xyz.
instead of everyone trading with a small amount individually, the DAO pools ETH into one treasury and plans to enter Papertrade from the very first block.
the interesting part is how papertrade starts.
its lp begins at $0, with no seed liquidity, no pre-minted paper and no team/VC PAPER allocation.
as traders lose positions, paper gets minted. early on, while the tracked LP is below roughly $2M, each $1 of loss basis can mint 100 PAPER. the rate decreases as the lp grows.
so the PaperDAO thesis is simple:
community eth → treasury → papertrade from day one → farm paper → pulp holders share the treasury.
$PULP represents your share of the dao treasury and the DAO says its goal is to remain fully community-owned.
one thing i’d keep clear though:
paperdao and papertrade are not the same team.
paperdao is an independent community treasury trying to position itself early around Papertrade’s launch.
papertrade is expected to go live on October 10.
that makes the real question pretty interesting is
can being positioned from block one actually matter when the liquidity starts from zero?
i’m watching this one closely.
