It’s also a look at the impact generational issues can have on people’s mental health. Told from Whitehaven, but no doubt similar to so many other places too. Produced by @ellagriffith and @SkyNewsValerie shot/edited by Andy Dennell and Anthony Whiley.

A snippet from a story I’ve been working on with @ellagriffith for months. An interview with an incredible man, but also an insight into the relationship between spiritual and mental health, which can often be complicated.

Last February, @ShingiMararike & I went to Heaton Park synagogue to film a piece about the rise in antisemitism in the UK. The Rabbi there said they needed to have extra security since Oct 7th, but still felt optimistic about the community. Thinking about him and others today.
With over 4,000 antisemitic incidents reported in 2023, and the CST calling it an ā€˜explosion in hatred’, we spoke to some of those directly impacted by the rise, including one man whose business has received bomb threats. Our piece by @ShingiMararike, produced by me.
