Said it before and I'll say it again to my fellow male managers. If you feel uncomfortable mentoring women, you are not fit to be a manager. I've mentored several amazing women over the past few years and guess what? When you are not a creep, everything is fucking fine.

Strongly held opinion: don't rewrite your React app with hooks yet: you'll have to rewrite it again once the Suspense / data fetching features land. Once those land feel free to rewrite components that would benefit from the new model. You don't need to rewrite everything though

The reason I'm making a JavaScript fundamentals course is that I see so many rushing into frameworks and libraries without a good set of fundamentals. Frameworks, libs (and even languages!) change but a solid base in JS will let you slam dunk anything that comes your way 👍🏻
