Fast forward to the injury crisis United suffered under Ten Hag, including 45 separate Premier League time-loss injuries in 2023/24.
Maybe Ronaldo understood something about managing playersโ physical loads that Ten Hag refused to consider. Training intensity matters, but so does knowing when to push and when to recover.
