🚨 BREAKING: HACKERS USED A FAKE JOB INTERVIEW TO STEAL $6.3 BILLION FROM BINANCE
Binance says attackers posed as recruiters and tricked an engineer into downloading a coding assignment containing malware onto his work computer.
The hackers then exploited Binance's internal AI tool to access wallet engineers' computers, stole credentials and manipulated wallet-signing systems to drain billions in crypto.
Binance says $2.85 billion has been frozen and 98% of affected tokens replenished using company funds, with users bearing no losses.
The FBI has attributed the attack to North Korea.
