On behalf of silverbirch ward i am requesting donations for our Christmas raffle .
This can be from business or personal donations.
Kind regards Kathy.Teece@nottshc.nhs.uk
Time for highlight #7 – Cathy's 91-year-old dad Ray hadn’t held a tennis racket in over four yeas and managed a perfect serve, with Pixie the dog joining in on the fun!🎾
Taking part in physical activities where possible can have a significant impact on wellbeing.

2 weeks today till Christmas!!!
Silverbirch patients are getting into the Christmas spirit with festive themed music and activities. #NHS#MentalHealthMatters#dementia
Today marks #WorldPatientSafetyDay and we'd like to thank health and care staff across the country for their continued efforts to put the safety of patients first, and to support the NHS to improve #PatientSafety.
Dementia is caused when diseases (such as Alzheimer’s disease) cause nerve cells to die, damaging the structure & chemistry of the brain.
In different types of dementia there is damage to different parts of the brain, so the symptoms experienced will differ for everyone.
If you are worried about your mental health, or you're in crisis, and live in #Nottingham or #Nottinghamshire, you can call 0808 196 3779 and talk to someone who can help you get the right care. Available 24/7, we’re here for you.
All the staff enjoyed the silverbirch away day and as a team we would like to do it for Diane.
Diane was a valued HCA on Silverbirch but sadly she passed away on 1st August 2021.
