Palestinian Poppy’s being sold here in The UK now. If that isn’t the biggest slap in the face to our annual Remembrance Commemorations and our wonderful veterans then I don’t know what is.
The proceeds from these ‘fake’ poppy’s will no doubt find their way to an organisation that would encourage harm to our way of life.
Sorry, I’ll buy my traditional poppy and wear it with total pride knowing it commemorates the ultimate sacrifice so many brave souls gave for their country. 🌺
Don’t mess with our traditions, we value them intently in The UK.

Ultimately the charges relate to the owners and in any situation it has to be innocent before proven guilty, I think that’s fair. If they do end up being relegated either directly or via a points deduction then a lot of those players would leave anyway.
I find the fact that many of their fans are loving the situation very odd though. Surely they realise they’ve been found guilty and they must realise the possible scenarios of that verdict.

That was a tough watch! We took an hour to wake up but got there in the end…🙌.
Anyway, thanks to the trains it took me 5 hours to get from A to B today, the worst form of transport known to man…🚂.

The guidance recommends replacing ‘gendered job titles’ with ‘gender-neutral terms wherever possible’. Members should say ‘chair’ instead of ‘chairman’, ‘police officer’ instead of ‘policeman’ and ‘parents and carers’ rather than mothers and fathers.

If you are convinced you are innocent of a crime then why wouldn’t you do the following couple of things:
Fully cooperate with the ongoing investigation and personnel involved.
Withhold evidence that you claim will prove your innocence until after the verdict.
I’m open to any replies that could vindicate that course of action. 🤷

Sometimes in life you just have to put your hands up and say…. ‘I was wrong’.
It’s hard at times, especially when you’ve believed things you thought were totally true and even debated with others on that basis.
None of us like to be wrong but admitting that we are is always the best course of action once the game is up.
Continuing with a front to cover up obvious fabrication is purely a futile and pointless exercise, the real man takes adversity on the chin and although difficult is prepared to face the consequences.

As a side note:
When you see what has gone on at both Chelsea & Manchester City it merely confirms that having responsible and level headed owners in place is paramount to running a global football club.
Our owners took plenty of stick in their early years, there are reasons for that but they haven’t dragged our club through the mud and have now delivered on the pitch.
Rome wasn’t built in a day, the ‘instant success’ model has now proven to be a tarnished product that will forever more have a stigma attached to it.
Maybe some will disagree but when you win you want your conscience to be clear, that’s a fundamental principle in any sport in my opinion. Then the legacy will always be there for all to see 🔴⚪️.
