I was really young when 9/11 happened. I remember knowing that something terrible had happened, but I don’t think I was old enough to understand the true magnitude of it. As I got older, I really began to understand the lives that were lost, the families who were forever changed, the first responders who ran toward that danger, and how deeply that day affected our country and the world as a whole. It’s eye-opening how something you experience as a child can take on an entirely different meaning as you grow up. Everyday on September 11th, I remember the people we lost, the families who still carry that loss, and the courage of those who helped others in the darkest moments. 🇺🇸🤍 #NeverForget #September11
