A Nigerian delivery rider in Dubai reportedly became the center of attention after someone filmed him late at night, waiting for his next order while reading the Qur’an beside his motorcycle. What made the scene unusual was the small Qur’an box he had arranged near the front of his bike. Whenever there was a break between deliveries, he would take the Qur’an out and read. When asked why he carried a physical Qur’an instead of simply reading from his phone, his answer was deeply moving. He reportedly explained that he is a Hafiz of the Qur’an and regularly recites it during Ramadan. He had memorized the Qur’an through constant revision, not from a phone, and continues reading many chapters every day alongside his work so that he does not forget what he has memorized. The video reportedly spread widely and eventually reached Dubai authorities. Claims circulating online say that he was later recognized and rewarded for his dedication and sincerity, with some posts stating that he received AED 50,000. Whether every detail of the viral story is accurate or not, one lesson remains powerful: Do not let your circumstances make you forget the Book of Allah. He was waiting for a delivery order, but perhaps he was also preparing for something far greater. May Allah preserve the Qur’an in his heart, increase him in sincerity, and bless his work and his life.

Abu Zarr ya ce: Manzon Allah (SAW) ya ce da ni: "Idan kun azumci wani bangare na wata, to ku azumci 13,14 da 15." Jareer bin Abdullah R.A ya ruwaito cewa Manzon Allah (SAW) ya ce: “Azumin kwanaki 3 na kowane wata shine azumin tsowon rayuwa, kuma ayyamul-beed shi ne na goma sha uku da sha hudu da sha biyar”. (Al-Nasaa’iy (2420) ya ruwaito; Albaani ya sanya shi a matsayin sahihi a cikin sahih al-Targheeb, (1040).
