A new update in the Nolan Wells case. The Mississippi State Medical Examiner’s autopsy report, signed August 17, lists Nolan Wells’ cause and manner of death as undetermined. The report also notes that no fluid or debris was found in the airways of his lungs and that his stomach was reported empty. In a recent decision, a Jackson County grand jury declined to bring charges against anyone, finding no credible evidence of criminal conduct. The grand jury concluded that the condition, position, location, and time Nolan was found were consistent with drowning. However, the state medical examiner’s autopsy report lists Nolan’s cause and manner of death as undetermined. There have been many conversations and distractions surrounding this case, but the main question still remains: What happened to Nolan Wells?
