Your 7-point Parent Promise is a start, but it doesn't go far enough. Here is what must be added to remove Far-Left ideology from British schools.
1.) Mandate far-left history:
Require every pupil to study the history and outcomes of Marxism, Communism, and revolutionary socialism alongside Nazism, including death tolls (94-110 million), gulags, famines, and mass repression.
2.) Neutrality audit and ban third-party charters:
Legally treat terms such as “equity,” “intersectionality,” “white privilege,” “unconscious bias,” “decolonisation,” and “anti-racism,” etc., as contested partisan concepts. Ban state-funded bodies from paying for or adopting third-party equality/equity charters.
3.) Reform teacher training:
Remove initial training from university education departments. Establish a National College of Teaching focused on subject mastery and liberal pluralism; Prohibit Critical Pedagogy frameworks.
4.) Enforce impartiality and close the Section 406 gap:
Teachers who present far-left ideologies (e.g., “white privilege,” gender theory, decolonisation, etc.) face QTS review after a Neutrality Audit finding.
5.) Ban unapproved third-party materials:
Prohibit use of lesson plans or resources from the NEU, partisan charities, or NGOs unless they pass a Neutrality Audit and receive DfE/Curriculum Standards Body approval.
6.) Per-pupil funding portability:
Make funding follow the pupil so parents can exit radicalised schools.
7.) Religious integrity:
Centre Christianity in Religious Education as the nation’s foundational heritage. Prohibit schools from requiring or requesting non-Muslim pupils to participate in Islamic prayer.
8.) Ban postcolonial/Fanon-Marxist frameworks:
Prohibit institutional promotion or adoption of postcolonial theory and Fanon-Marxist decolonisation doctrines across education and the public sector. End public funding for related audits, training, or historical revisionism.
9.) Ban gender and trans ideology for under-16s:
Prohibit teaching gender theory or queer theory ideologies to anyone under 16; that sex is a social construct, that gender is a spectrum separate from sex, or that a child can be “born in the wrong body.” This would be classified as a form of child sexual abuse (CSA), emotional/psychological grooming, carrying severe criminal penalties for teachers.
10.) Ban CRT-derived anti-racism:
Prohibit anti-racism teachings in state-funded education with explicit bans of Critical Race Theory and Critical Theory-derived equity ideology, including “white privilege,” “unconscious bias,” “allyship,” “intersectionality,” and “white guilt.” Immediate QTS review and Ofsted inspection if breached.
