The PM. “Mr Burnham declared his election ‘could be a turning point’ for the nation, asserting that voters had ‘voted for change’ by choosing him as their MP.” One seat choosing an MP is not the nation voting for change, and the rhetoric treats a local result as something larger than it is. A single constituency by-election is not a national mandate, and treating it as one is the same old standard political inflation that’s so dog eared it’s time to burn the book. He won a by-election with 24,927 votes in Makerfield. That’s 0.019% of the current national electorate. 48.2 million voters never saw a ballot paper.

I know everything feels bleak. All the world’s problems … It’s a lot. But … Let’s not forget the nuances, the minutiae, the minor irks and irritants. This is one of mine. It’s a beautiful sofa; 7.5 ft of glorious, velvety indulgence. It’s my favourite place. It’s mine. And yet here we fucking are.

Been nurturing an apple tree for months. Dug up, balled, unwanted, offered, taken, replanted. All but naked, clearly neglected, figured why not? Months of meeting its needs, watching it slowly recover, rewarded by new leaves and branches followed by a glorious blossoming bloom a couple of months ago. Decided to get a close up shot of it (below) and ask an AI what species of apple it is. Having got an answer and not believing it I did the same with a two additional AI apps. It's a pear tree. I've been cuckooed.

Every time dog dinner isn't delivered at 17:00 hrs she does this, similar, or worse. We've talked about it many, many times. It's an ongoing conversation. Right at the end she snatched a bag of crisps. Oi.

Is a revolution unfolding in Ireland. 🇮🇪 Day 3 of farmers, truckers and hauliers fuel protests and blockades of depots and ports…and the country is grinding to a halt. Massive rises in fuel costs, insane carbon taxes, very limited help from the government and an EU that refuses to allow countries like Spain to cut VAT have pushed these businesses over the edge. They simply cannot pay their expenses any more let alone make a profit. And more and more of the Irish people are backing them. The government are threatening to bring in the army. If that happens all bets are off, anything could erupt….yet zero coverage of it on mainstream British news🤷‍♂️ Support Irish farmers, support Irish truckers, support British farmers.

An MP stood in Westminster the other day asking for MP’s rhetoric to be measured against the Nolan principles. Let’s have a look at these Nolan principles. What a crock. Was a work coach, I became unwell, offered med retirement; I resigned wanting to return to my post. I wasn’t treated for 5 yrs 7 months. All too little, too late. As for my customer journey as an ex work coach? Disgraceful, discriminatory, inhuman.
