Another year, another reason to be grateful. 🥂🎂 Today, I’m not only celebrating my birthday, I’m celebrating the people and experiences that have made the journey worthwhile. I feel genuinely blessed to be part of the $BOOPI team and to have grown alongside such an amazing community on X. WHAT I NOTICED AFTER ACTUALLY PLAYING QUIP There’s a certain moment in a game where you realize you can’t blame luck anymore. You either timed your move right or you didn’t.That’s the feeling I get with Quip. ➜ Your decisions actually matter. Quip is built around 1v1 physics-based games where timing, movement, positioning and strategy can completely change the outcome. Take Slingshot Sumo, for example. You’re basically trying to push your opponent out of the ring while making sure they don’t do the same to you. Sounds simple until you actually start playing. You can win one round and then lose the next because your opponent read your movement better. And honestly, that’s what makes it fun. ➜ It isn’t just about having something to win. It’s about being good enough to win it. That same idea carries across Quip’s games. Rebound Rush is about reflexes and angles. Sumo Duel 1D is about timing, spacing and knowing when to attack or defend. Launch League brings trajectory and stage control into the mix. And Turf Rush adds mechanics like Plant and Dash, where your decisions can quickly change the match. So even though these are quick games, there’s actually a lot happening underneath them. ➜ No RNG deciding whether your move works. Quip uses deterministic physics, meaning the same inputs under the same conditions produce the same result. There’s also a server-side referee and replay system designed to make matches verifiable. And then there’s the part that makes Quip especially interesting to me: You can play casually. Practice for free. Jump into a match when you’re bored. Or, when eligible, stake USDC or $PHYS and have something real on the line. But you’re not guaranteed to win. I’ve had games where I thought I had it completely under control and still lost.
